Each day brings a new perspective, a fresh palette of clouds, light, and weather patterns—all documented through timelapse photography that transforms hours into moments. It's like watching paint dry, except the paint is clouds and it's actually interesting.

How It Works

Our automated system captures frames from a skyline camera positioned in Northwest Oregon throughout the day, then processes them into beautiful timelapse videos. Each video shows the progression from dawn to dusk, capturing the unique weather patterns, cloud formations, and lighting conditions characteristic of the Pacific Northwest region.

The timelapse videos are processed with algorithms to ensure smooth playback, proper exposure transitions, and optimal frame selection. Weather data is automatically analyzed and integrated, providing context for each day's unique atmospheric conditions. It's all automated, which means we can't blame the camera operator when things go wrong.

The camera itself is an ANNKE C800 4K camera, pointed at 245 degrees southwest. While the camera isn't technically pointing northwest, we're located in the northwest—so it all works out in the end. Geography is funny like that.
